Portrait Session Booking

Please use the form here to book your session. After I receive your interest form, I will reach out to let you know the availability for the day, confirm a time slot, and answer any questions you might have.

Our standard portrait sessions are 2 hours long, and you can expect to receive your fully-edited high resolution photos directly to your private gallery within 48 hours. You will receive an email with a link to your gallery, as well as a download PIN. Using this gallery, you can order prints or share photos directly with friends and family. You can even order cards and other products without leaving your gallery, and enjoy fulfillment through our professional lab partner.

All mini sessions also receive 10% off holiday cards, which you can order right through your client portal.

Portrait sessions can take place anywhere, and we are happy to get adventurous. if you know what type of location you are looking for, but need some tips, just let us know.

If you have smaller children, or are short on time, you may be interested in a shorter session. A mini session might be an even better fit. Just message me for details.

What Should We Wear?

Remember the color theory wheel from high school art class? It is your friend here. For fall sessions, I typically recommend creams instead of bright whites, navy and jewel tones instead of pastels, and recommend staying away from anything the color of the leaves outside (this could be green to orange depending on the week!)
From there, I would stick with season-appropriate attire, like sweaters or long sleeves, denim, and corduroy.
I typically recommend staying away from T-shirts with designs or prints, and opt for basic textures and patterns. For fall, checks, herringbone, and cable-knit are all great choices. Instead of giving everyone in the family the same outfit, consider outfits that might be sold next to each other in a catalog. I am always up for wardrobe review too if you need help :)

What should we bring?

I usually recommend leaving nonessentials at home or in the car (like a purse you don't want to carry with you). My shooting style is active, so I will likely have you walking ahead of me, strolling, and playing with the kids, pets, or focused on each other. That said, I have a bag with me to carry small items, and recommend you bring anything you want for the shoot (like a blanket or prop).

How much does it cost, and what do we get?

Most mini sessions are $250 for 2 hours. Some sessions may have additional cost for rental fees at Tree Farms or other privately owned venues.

For the investment, you receive all of your photos fully edited and delivered to your personal gallery within 48 hours. Using this gallery, you can order professional prints at an amazing value, or download your pictures and print them on your own.

I offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Its works like so: provided you have not downloaded your images from your gallery, if you are not satisfied with your results, I will refund your investment, or we can book another session and try again. It's worth mentioning I have never had to honor this :)

How can we pay?

I can invoice you on PayPal (you do not need PayPal, just a credit card). I also have Venmo, and cash is always accepted, too.
