I had shot for Kevin and Brigid in the past, so when they hired me to shoot their wedding, I was really excited. These two are always so full of spirit, and I remember at the time thinking that they had absolutely the perfect degree of chemistry between them (not to mention well-behaved, charming kiddos).
We started the day at their new home. For the record, I absolutely love shooting in home because not only is everyone more comfortable, there is something charming about prepping for such a big day in a place that means so much. They booked a honeymoon suite at the Ritz-Carlton (also in Philly) where they put the finishing touches on their attire and had a few quiet moments together before the ceremony and subsequent floating party. Yes, I said floating...Their beautiful intimate wedding took place abroad the Freedom Elite Yacht in Philadelphia. With less than 100 friends and family, and a fully-stocked bar, the party continued long into the night and culminated with a fireworks display that Kevin arranged to surprise his beautiful new bride.
