Its awesome when great clients become even better friends. I've known Elyse and Chris for years now, and feel so happy that I was able to cover their wedding day. Their last few years include a ton of skiing, paddle boarding with their pup, a ton of grad school. Basically wherever you find adventure, you will find these two not far behind. Whenever I get to catch up with them, the pace of their wedding day, in retrospect, makes complete sense. After all, with Philly as your backyard, why opt for just one location?
We started the day at the hotel in Philly, and proceeded to conduct the most glamorous (and well-articulated if I may boast) march across the city to Love Park where the two had their first look. Despite a bit of rain (thank goodness for clear umbrellas!) we made our way across a few medians to get some photos in front of City Hall, then headed over to the Art Museum and stormed the Rocky steps for more bridal photos. From there, we made a brief stop at Wawa (because weddings make brides hungry), and met the keepers of beautiful Shofuso in Fairmount Park. Their ceremony was held at their church in Montgomery County, and the reception was held at the ever classy Merion Cricket Club.
