This wedding was one for the books. It was our first time to International Falls, Minnesota, which is right on the border to Canada. It took a 4 hour flight, and another 4 hour drive north, where we stayed at an absolutely "charming" inn on the lake. By charming, I mean they laughed when we asked for an ironing board and iron, and they finally found one for us - in the kitchen attached to the bar. We chose this hotel because it offered potable water, a luxury in this off-grid small town. Within this small town, we found the nicest, most down to earth people, ready to celebrate the wedding of two of my favorite people in the world - my little sister and soon to be sister-in-law. They crafted the most beautiful wedding on the lake, in the backyard of a family property. Here are some of my favorites from a perfect summer day.
